1st Grade: St George 3-179 vs RPC @ Coogee Oval
After a week of rain, skipper Adam Semple was looking to make early in roads after winning the toss and sending Saints in at Coogee Oval. With both openers removed by Daniel Sams (1-31 from 11) and Francois Neser (1-32 from 10), and then Soumil Chhibber (1-14 from 9) picking up Rory Burns for 27, Saints were sitting at 3-94. The dangerous pairing of Bourke and May moved the score to 3-179 from 60 overs before an afternoon storm hit and stumps were called setting up an interesting second week.

2nd Grade: St George 168 & 1-46 vs RPC 9-78 (dec) @ Hurstville Oval
Skipper John McLoughlin won the toss and sent Saints in on a Hurstville Oval deck that looked like it had plenty of juice in it. It proved to be a wise decision, with Barry McCarthy (3-32 from 17), Tom McKenzie (4-36 from 15) and Sam Wood (3-59 from 13) all bowling well to see Saints dismissed for 168 from 53 overs.
However, this good work with the ball was undone with a disappointing batting effort, with RPC declaring the inning closed at 9-78 after 29 overs, with only 3 batsman making double figures.
Saints moved to 1-46 from 11 overs at stumps, a lead of 136 going into day two.

3rd Grade: RPC 4-160 vs St George @ Petersham Oval
Skipper Rod Stafford final won a toss, and elected to bat first on a Petersham Oval wicket that was in great condition considering the lead up weather. The loss of an early wicket wasn’t the ideal start, but Alan Sciascia (31 from 67) was able to contribute at the top of the order to see RAPC move to 4-86 before rain hit. After the delay, Rocky Ahmed (29 not out from 130) and Oshanka Perera (41 not out from 115) were able to blunt the Saints attack to see RPC finish in a healthy position of 4-160 at stumps.

Poidevin-Gray Round 1: Blacktown 193 vs RPC 6-194 @ Joe McAleer Oval – Won by 4 wickets
Blacktown were looking good at 0-81 until Soumil Chhibber struck. In an all-spin attack, Jack Preddey then took three quick wickets to see the score plummet to 4-129. After some consolidation Sam Wood had opener Dallaway caught behind by ‘keeper Max Moran for 98. The quicker bowlers then cleaned up claiming the last 5 wickets for just 21. Preddey (3-40 off 10 overs), James Psarakis (2-23 off 8), Will Pereira (2-25 off 5.4), Wood (1-31 off 10) and Chhibber (1-39 off 10) shared the spoils. Moran (55 off 64 balls)) and Adam Docos (32 off 104) gave the side a 73 runs start enabling skipper Jake Scicluna (45 off 57) and Chhibber (21* off 28) to do enough to win in 47.4 overs despite a middle order slump when 4 wickets fell for just 5 runs.
