First grade suffered an unfortunate defeat to Sydney at Coogee Oval last weekend. After posting 303 on the first day of a two-day game, RP was unable to bowl out Sydney with the visitors taking the match by six wickets. First grade is now in 10th position, needing to beat Parramatta and have a string of results go their way to avoid an early end to the summer. Second grade have come home with a wet sail, this time downing a highly-fancied Sydney to move into 9th position and with an outside chance of still playing finals. Third grade beat Sydney at Petersham Oval with Tom McKenzie taking five wickets and take on Parramatta aiming to climb from 7th into the top six. Fourth grade need only beat Parramatta to secure their position, with RP currently sitting in 6th spot.
