A great performance from Usman Khawaja headlined Australia’s 1st Test win in the Ashes. 141 in the 1st innings and 65 in the 2nd saw Uz face 518 deliveries, the most by an Australian batsman since 1964. He also became only the 2nd Australian batsman to bat on all 5 days of a Test since 1980.
For Uz and David Warner it has been a successful month with a World Test Championship win as well as the Ashes win.
